I've owned my Mk2 focus for a year now and finally getting around to doing some little modifications to it. (I got a new head unit, Coilovers waiting to fit, 25mm wheel spacers, through pipe/race tube and a small bit of wrapping on the inside.) I really want to get the MK2.5 headlights as I prefer the shape of them to my pre-facelift model.
The tensioner was a genuine tensioner, it's the idler pulley that wasn't. The one I got from ford and ina brand has Volvo etched and a Volvo/ford part number where as the one from a&e doesnt. I doubt there is any difference between the two but it's not what it's being sold as.

I'm looking to identify the 8 pin connector and also the 10 pin connector. I have bought st225 bixenon projector headlights and they are 10 pin but my car is a zetec model and is only 8 pin.
Yes there is a 2.5Ltr focus. They are the Focus MK2 ST and the Focus RS and they are both real beats, the confusing part is that there is a variant to the MK2 Focus MK2 preface lift and a face lift MK2 2.5 its the way it looks outside and has an updated interior and .They both have the 2.5 ltr Duratec engine that has five cylinders the ST in standard form is 225BHP as it comes from the factory
I can't say that enough times, it makes a big difference. 2) When on full left lock, after reversing off my drive, I don't get the clonk noise when I turn to set of. It sounding like a drive shaft issue, but this has been fixed. 4) The new version has slightly different positions for the foot pedals.
Here comes the fun part. The apim will need to be coded to the spec of your car. The easiest way to do this is using the ford as built data. The way to do this is find a facelift focus with the same options as yours. For example mine is a titanium x, and the facelift titanium x has the same features as mine.
