iPhone 13 is even practically the same as iPhone 12, and 12 is still well worth it in 2023, so you can answer your question for yourself. 13 has a little bit better battery life, camera quality is arguably the same/better. Buying iPhone 14 shouldn’t be even considered. iPhone XR is not worth buying now as a main phone. It’s not going to receive any more updates after iOS 17, and battery life isn’t good on 17. I say that if you wanna get an iPhone, but not the newest one, get the 12 and up. Forget about any models that came before the 12. 5. Unfortunately due to the very outdated OS, safari browser and cellular capabilities the 4 would be essentially useless.
